Who am I?
Know me better
Nice to meet you! I’m Zemmouri Raid Zakaria, 22 years old, from a small town in Mila state. What I love most are God, Mom, and Marketing 😆. I’m serious! Back when I first got the internet at home, I discovered this amazing thing called online business. I learned that people could run their own businesses with just a laptop and an internet. I had them both, but I couldn’t make any money.
That’s when I started searching for the reason why. After a long time—reading every article, watching every video, and listening to every podcast, I finally figured it out.
It was because I didn’t know marketing.
Yep, I realized that if I had to learn just one skill to succeed in online business, it would be digital marketing. And that’s how it all began.
I started consuming every piece of content I could get my hands on about digital marketing—books, courses, training…everything. I fell in love with it. I would sit in front of my laptop for hours, as long as my eyes didn’t hurt. When they started hurting, I’d take a break, wash my face, look at the sky for a couple minutes, and then get right back to it.
What I have said…That was 9 years ago. When it was time to go to university, I decided I’d attend business school.
Honestly, I wasn’t convinced that school could teach me better than I could teach myself. I love self-learning—the freedom to control my time and study the way I want. But I told myself, “Hey, if I’m going to attend university anyway, at least let’s pick marketing as my major.” So I chose Marketing and Communication. And now here I am, in my final year, preparing to graduate with my master’s degree next summer.
Alongside my academic studies, I’ve worked as a freelancer and kept self-educating, diving deeper into the field. Now I’ve got a lot of skills, such as Social Media Design, Direct Response Copywriting, Email Copywriting, Funnel Building, WordPress Website Building, and much more. Once I graduate, I’m gonna start my own online marketing agency.

Conversion is the most important thing when it comes to making money online, it’s the heart of business, and if you want to convert like crazy you need…guess what? you need to be good at writing copy.

On the occasion of the World Week of Entrepreneurship, the National Entrepreneurship Support and Development Agency gave me this certificate for winning the challenge for the best business project idea. This was presented during the ceremony marking the conclusion of our entrepreneurship training at ESC on November 23, 2024.
